Travel PACU RN - $2,358 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse in the PACU provides care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. This position requires knowledge and experience in dealing with various populations, including general, gynecological, vascular, orthopaedic, urology, and podiatry specialties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients during recovery
- Monitor patients' recovery process following surgery
- Administer medications and manage pain control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with surgical and nursing teams
Requirements
- Active RN license in West Virginia
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in PACU, ICU, or ER settings
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC
Qualifications
Preferred certification: ASPAN
Skills
Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols, effective communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 06:30 - 15:00
Weekend Hours: Every Other / As Needed
Potential for coverage and on-call duties: 1 night/week, 1 weekend/month
