Travel PACU RN - $2,462 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico, starting October 26, 2026. The position requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour day or evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recovering patients from anesthesia and monitor them as they wake from surgery.
• Provide care for post‑operative patients recovering from general, regional, or local anesthesia, including inpatients and outpatients.
• Administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.
• Determine patient readiness for discharge to outpatient care or transfer to the floor for continued stay.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care PACU setting.

Skills

• Patient monitoring and assessment.
• Intervention and continuous reassessment.
• Care of post‑operative patients recovering from various types of anesthesia.
• Ability to treat both inpatients and outpatients according to individual needs.
