Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients across all age groups and surgical specialties in a dedicated PACU unit
- Perform patient assessment and monitoring in the post-operative setting
- Manage care for pediatric and high-acuity patients as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document care using electronic medical record systems
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active North Dakota RN license or compact state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Recent PACU experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
