About the role
This is a 13-week contract travel position for a PACU Registered Nurse. The role involves 8-hour day shifts with call requirements: 1x per week (end of shift to beginning of next shift) and 1x per month on weekends (7 AM to 7 PM, 24 hours).
Responsibilities
- Conduct postoperative assessments and monitor patient recovery in the PACU.
- Provide pain management and implement recovery protocols.
- Educate patients and families on postoperative care instructions, medications, and follow-up appointments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience.
- Experience managing a ventilator.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
