Travel PACU RN - $2,238 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) will function within the Health System's mission, vision, values, objectives, policies, and procedures. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift, primarily focused on the peri-anesthesia continuum. This includes conducting initial and ongoing assessments to develop individualized plans of care, which target the physical, psychological, educational, sociocultural, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient data and develop an individualized plan of care.
- Participate in formulating a multidisciplinary treatment plan.
- Perform nursing interventions to achieve patient goals.
- Conduct patient evaluations and determine the effectiveness of interventions.
- Assist with nerve blocks during the pre-anesthesia phase under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and transition patients from Phase I to Phase II based on ASPAN standards.
- Respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes.
Requirements
- 3 years of PACU experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
