Travel PACU RN - $2,050 per week
About the role
GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Post Anesthesia Care (PACU) position in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 13-week assignment with a start date of 08/31/2026, requiring 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (7p-7am). The unit operates 24/7 and handles higher acuity cases, including Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery. The PACU is overseen by a Charge Nurse and Supervisor, with call coverage on holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care for patients in the PACU.
- Manage higher acuity cases across specialties such as Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery.
- Work collaboratively with the Charge Nurse and Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience.
- Active AHA ACLS and BLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- No local candidates within 50 miles (travel assignment).
