Schedule

• Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts)

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care PACU setting
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in recovering from anesthesia in the Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patients as they awaken from surgery until they are discharged to outpatient care or transferred to an inpatient floor.
• Provide care for post‑operative patients recovering from general, regional, and local anesthesia.
• Deliver diligent care through continuous monitoring, assessment, intervention, and reassessment.
