Travel PACU RN - $2,002 per week

About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in PreOp and PACU (Phase 1 & Phase 2) areas
• Rotate through PreOp, PACU Phase 1, and PACU Phase 2 areas
• Manage patient ratios: Pre-op 1:3 or 1:4 (depending on acuity), Phase 1 1:2, Phase 2 1:4
• Handle case types including GYN, General Robotics (Bariatric, Prostate, Hernia, Gallbladder, Hysterectomy), Urology, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Podiatry, Plastics, Cataracts, ENT, and ENDO (Colon, EGD, ERCP, Bronchoscopy)

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with 1 year PACU experience
• Must have preop and PACU Phase 1 and Phase 2 experience
• 1 travel assignment in PACU
• Licenses: RN (Compact Accepted) - copy needed
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS - copies needed
• SSN required, DOB required
• 1 reference in the last 12 months
• Skills checklist within 12 months
• Must provide list of hospitals where you have preop, Phase 1, and Phase 2 experience over the last 12 months, and list hospitals where you have completed travel assignments

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, days/evenings/nights
• Shift times vary based on need
• Weekend rotation: Friday night and weekend call, approximately every 8-10 weekends
• Holiday expectations discussed during interview
• Schedule cycle: every 8 weeks
• RTO requires manager approval

Pay

• Pay Rate: $1952.00 - $2052.00
