Travel PACU RN - $1,947 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PACU - Post Anesthesia Care position in Everett, Washington. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post‑operative patients recovering from surgical anesthesia.
• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience (PACU preferred).
• Ability to meet the physical demands described above.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.
