Travel PACU RN - $1,940 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PACU - Post Anesthesia Care assignment in Knoxville, Tennessee. MedPro Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission‑certified provider of contract staffing services, placing nursing and allied travelers in top healthcare facilities nationwide since 1983.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recovering patients from anesthesia and monitor them while they wake up from surgery until discharge to outpatient or transfer to the floor.
• Provide care for post‑operative patients recovering from anesthesia (general, regional, local) for inpatients and outpatients according to their needs.
• Administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care PACU setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility

Schedule

• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 36 hours
• Shift: 12‑hour day shifts

Pay

• Weekly pay with direct deposit
• Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
