About the role
The Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse will provide care to patients immediately following surgery, monitoring their vital signs, managing airways, and addressing pain levels in a highly skilled 8-bay unit. The role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration to ensure patient safety and satisfaction during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient vital signs and airway management post-surgery.
- Manage patient pain levels effectively.
- Provide post-surgical care before transportation to continued observation areas.
- Work collaboratively in a team-based environment focused on patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- One year of experience in Main Hospital PACU required.
- Pediatric experience in the OR is mandatory.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
- Active RN license required.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Schedule 3x12-Hour Shifts (07:00 - 19:00), on-call requirement for nights, weekends, and holidays included.
