Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,570 per week

About the role

Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) in a community hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized patient care in the preoperative and post-anesthesia recovery phases across multiple operating rooms. The position requires on-call availability with a varying schedule, including weeknight and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients recovering from anesthesia across diverse surgical specialties including Neuro, Plastics, ENT, Breast, General, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, Vascular, and Endoscopy
• Provide specialized patient care in the preoperative and post-anesthesia recovery phases
• Participate in on-call rotation with additional or reduced staffing depending on operational needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the appropriate jurisdiction
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum of 0 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in post-anesthesia or PACU nursing
• Previous background in high-acuity surgical units
• Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Schedule

• Days shifts, with shift hours ranging from 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start date: 09/06/2026, end date: 12/05/2026
• On-call availability required with varying schedule including weeknight and weekend shifts
