About the role

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in an outpatient procedure environment. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collect relevant patient data and analyze assessment findings
• Develop and implement care plans
• Coordinate care and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate duties to healthcare team members
• Provide education to patients and their families

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• PACU experience preferred
• RN licensure in the state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
• EPIC experience required
• Minimum 0 years of experience required, with 5 years preferred
• Receive all mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable

Schedule

Day shift on a 5x8 outpatient procedure unit, 40 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
