Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,550 per week

Job Summary

The position involves providing postoperative patient care in a busy PACU setting, ensuring patient stability and recovery following surgical procedures. The role requires a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in preoperative and postoperative recovery.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts with a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
• Shifts: Weekend, holiday, and call coverage approximately every 5-6 weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or perioperative nursing
• Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures including ortho, bariatrics, general surgery, urology, and spine cases

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a valid driver's license for verification purposes
• RTO requests of 7 days or less are accepted upfront; additional requests will not be approved
• The facility's orientation includes one week of classroom training followed by one week of department-specific training

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
