Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,350 per week

Start Date: 11/02/2026; Duration: 13 weeks; 40 hours per week; Employment Type: Travel. Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized post-operative care to pediatric and adult patients recovering from anesthesia. The role requires a minimum of three years of experience, including the ability to recover pediatric patients, with responsibilities encompassing patient monitoring, management of ventilated patients, and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure safe recovery.

Responsibilities

• Providing specialized post-operative care to pediatric and adult patients recovering from anesthesia
• Patient monitoring
• Management of ventilated patients
• Collaboration with surgical teams to ensure safe recovery
• Floating to inpatient units as needed
• Assisting in pediatric patient recovery
• Participating in unit-specific orientation

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Ability to recover pediatric patients
• Willing to second phase patients out of operating rooms
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state

Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record
• Ability to read cardiac strips

Schedule

• Mix of 8 and 10-hour shifts, including shifts from 0730-4, 8-430, 830-5, 830-9pm, and 10-6:30pm on call
• On-call maximum 1-2 nights per 6-week schedule
• Weekend call of 24 hours within each 6 weeks
• Holiday and additional call as needed
