About the role
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse position is located in a healthcare facility environment. The role involves providing specialized care to post-anesthesia patients, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and other personnel. The position requires adherence to nursing standards, clinical judgment, leadership, and ongoing professional development. The assignment starts October 5, 2026, lasts 13 weeks (through January 2, 2027), requires 40 hours per week on day shifts, and covers two open positions as a contractor replacement at PWP facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to post-anesthesia patients
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and other personnel
- Adhere to nursing standards and exercise clinical judgment
- Demonstrate leadership and engage in ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Active NMRN licensure
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum two years of PACU/RN experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- No local candidates considered; all travel submissions must meet experience criteria
