Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,320 per week

Job Summary

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Wheeling, West Virginia. This role involves caring for patients recovering from anesthesia across various clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient recovery rooms, surgery centers, and anesthesia clinics. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position offers a dynamic work environment with rotating shifts and a focus on efficient patient recovery.

Job Details

• Location: Wheeling, West Virginia

• Shift: Predominately 3, 12-hour shifts; flexibility for 8-hour or 10-hour shifts if department needs are met. Start times vary.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).

• Minimum experience of 2 years in a related role.

• Valid license to submit, willing to wait for license approval.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday call rotations.

Additional Information

• Weekend call: One 24-hour shift per month from 7am-7am.

• Weekly call: Two additional overnight shifts from 11pm-7am per month.

Pay package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
