Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,272 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 20-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Peoria, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during stressful situations.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a PACU RN is preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
