Job Details: Location: Hilo, Hawaii Position: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU) Shift Schedule: Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays across ASU and PACU units. Schedule: Rotating shifts; 8 hours per shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid professional license within the state of practice; 2+ years of experience as a critical care registered nurse (such as ER & ICU) in a hospital setting may be accepted as a substitute; current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association; Hawaii state licensure required upon acceptance of the offer; proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start; must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment. Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) credential from the American Heart Association (may be required for certain positions); additional certifications such as NIHSS and TNCC are preferred and may be required for specific roles. Additional Information: Candidate must have Hawaii licensure by the start of the assignment. No guarantee of hours or shift preference; on-call shifts 0-3 times per month, including night and weekend/holiday coverage.
