Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,247 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse will work in the PACU/Recovery Room areas, which include both inpatient and outpatient settings, the Surgery Center, and the Anesthesia Clinic. Responsibilities include assessing and recovering patients post-anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-operative care. The RN will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in PACU and Recovery areas.
• Administer medications and provide post-operative care.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and other healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required for both inpatient and outpatient PACU, as well as the Surgery Center.
• BLS certification is the only requirement for the Anesthesia Clinic.
