Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,185 per week

About the role

This role involves providing high-acuity post-operative care for patients recovering from surgery, including neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, gynecological, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant procedures. The position requires critical care experience and the ability to manage complex postoperative patients within a Level I trauma center setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for acute post-op patients requiring invasive monitoring, transfusions, and vasoactive medications
• Manage patients with diverse surgical populations including neuro, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, and trauma
• Handle high acuity care such as ICP monitoring and artificial airways
• Night shift personnel will process preoperative patients for first cases starting early in the morning

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Critical care experience
• Inpatient experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Active license in good standing

Schedule

• Days shift, 10 hours per shift
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks (09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026)
• No holiday, weekend, or call duties scheduled
• Unit operates 24/7 with 38 patient bays
