Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,175 per week

About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) opportunities located in Saint Albans, Vermont. This position involves working in an ambulatory surgical setting with a focus on patient recovery following anesthesia. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ambulatory surgical setting
• Focus on patient recovery following anesthesia
• Minimum of 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Total of 48 weekend call hours every 13 weeks

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Vermont or a Compact State
• At least 2-3 years of RN experience in the specialty
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Intravenous (IV) certification

Qualifications

• Prior RN experience in the specialty
• Current licensure
• Reside outside a 50-mile radius

Skills

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
