About the role
PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Assist with monitoring vital signs and administering medications as necessary.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.
- Experience in PACU preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- At least one year of acute care nursing experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
