Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,145 per week

Job Summary

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) profession is currently seeking an experienced healthcare professional for a permanent position at a healthcare facility in Massachusetts. The role involves providing post-anesthesia recovery services, and the individual will work evening shifts within a fast-paced clinical environment. This position requires active licensure and current certification in medical assistance with a maximum of five days of time off for rest and recuperation.

Job Details

• Location: 101 Page Street, New Bedford, MA 02740
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 3-12 hours per shift, totaling 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/17/2026

Required Qualifications

• Valid MA license in hand
• Current NURSYS license
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Specific state licensure
• No more than 5 days of scheduled time off (RTO)
• Certification in CPR
• Recent clinical experience in post-anesthesia recovery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital environment
• Familiarity with PACU protocols and procedures
• Additional certifications such as BLS or ACLS preferred

The position requires working on-call rotations and adherence to hospital SOPs.
