Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,103 per week

About the role

The PACU provides critical post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. The unit comprises 20 pre-op bays and 24 PACU/Phase II bays. All staff rotate among Pre-op, PACU, Phase II, and boarders to ensure optimal patient care across all phases of recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to patients recovering from general, plastic, orthopedic, neuro, and other surgeries.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient recovery.
• Assist with regional acute pain management techniques such as epidurals.

Requirements

• Prior PACU experience, preference for level 1 trauma PACU.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Must have the ability to read cardiac strips and experience with ICU patients.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
