Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,035 per week

Job Summary

The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Peri Anesthesia team in a busy Level III Trauma Center. This position involves providing post-anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients in a 19-bed unit, ensuring their safety, comfort, and recovery following surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients in pre-op, same-day surgery, and Phase I PACU
• Managing arterial lines, dysrhythmias, and anesthesia recovery
• Performing IV starts, medication administration, and other post-surgical patient care procedures
• Experience with Level III Trauma Center, pediatric PACU, and Phase I PACU is preferred
• Proficient in managing a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric cases, with knowledge in multiple surgical specialties

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Education: RN license
• Location: Lewiston, ME
• Years of Experience: 2 years required
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Float: Rarely required

Qualifications

• Experience with Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, Gyn, Ortho, Robotics, Vascular, and Cardiac procedures, among others

Pay & Schedule

• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
