Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $1,880 per week
About the role
The facility in Great Falls, Montana is in need of a PreOp/PACU RN Traveler to work at an outpatient surgery center. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of specialty experience and experience with a variety of cases. Candidates must be able to recover phase 1 critical care patients. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient recovery from anesthesia
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
- Document patient progress and treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of PACU experience
- Ability to recover phase 1 critical care patients
Qualifications
- Experience with a variety of surgical cases
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols
