Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $1,800 per week

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing post-anesthesia recovery care within a 14-bed unit, supporting patients in the immediate postoperative period.

Job Details

• Location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
• Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• 1 or more years of PACU or ICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care experience
• PACU experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Call is required every fourth weekend and for one night per week
• Floating to endoscopy, pre-op, and surgery center is required
• Scrubs are provided
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) used is Cerner
• No accommodation for blocked schedules or GHs
• Routine patient ratio is 1:1 to 2
• The unit has 14 bays for patient care

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
