About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to make a significant impact in McMinnville, TN. This position offers an opportunity to work in an outpatient setting with a focus on improving patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on exercise programs and injury prevention
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions in various settings
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued rehabilitation
Requirements
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (Note: Role is for Speech Language Pathologist; ensure relevant degree)
- TN Physical Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist license
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
Pay
$1,759.36 - $1,813.77 per week
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts
- Up to 40 hours per week
- 13-week assignment length
