Travel Outpatient SLP - $2,702 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an assignment in Pasadena, California. This is a 13-week contract position starting on 09/08/2026, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits.
• Teach patients to improve communication skills, including making sounds, enhancing voice quality, and increasing oral or written language abilities.
• Instruct individuals on strengthening muscles or using compensatory strategies to swallow safely without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills, enabling them to fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the process of obtaining one.
• At least one year of professional working experience as an SLP.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
