American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Los Alamitos, California. The position starts October 19, 2026, requires 40 hours per week on day shifts (5×8‑hour shifts, 8:30 am–5:00 pm) in an outpatient adult rehabilitation setting within a hospital system.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, assessments, reassessments, develop plans of care, and discharge planning
• Conduct and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies
• Provide dysphagia management including bedside swallow evaluations, compensatory strategies, and diet modifications
• Utilize adaptive equipment such as alternative communication devices, augmentative communication tools, and memory aids
• Treat voice and resonance disorders using acoustic analysis, nasoendoscopy, videostroboscopy, and voice prosthesis
