Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,721 per week

Critical Connection, Inc. is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Clinton, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Absorb and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide 1:1 patient care focused on functional improvement and recovery
• Maintain a watchful eye on patient responses to treatment and report progress to the supervising PT
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate
• Accurately and timely document treatments and patient progress
• Inform patients about home exercise programs and injury prevention

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active (or pending) state PTA license
• New Grad PTAs welcome
• Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic / sports medicine setting
• Knowledge of modern equipment and well-organized clinics
• Supportive leadership, PT supervision, and administrative staff

Skills

• Skilled in delivering physical therapy treatments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and patient education skills

Pay & Schedule

• Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
