About the role
Critical Connection, Inc. is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Herndon, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide 1:1 patient care focused on functional improvement and recovery
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress to the supervising PT
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active (or pending) state PTA license
- New Grad PTAs welcome
- Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic / sports medicine setting
- Knowledge of modern equipment and well-organized clinics
- Supportive leadership, PT supervision, and administrative staff
Skills
- Skilled in delivering physical therapy treatments
- Ability to implement and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Effective communication and teamwork skills

Pay & Schedule
