Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,577 per week

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week assignment in Palm Coast, Florida. This position is on‑site in an outpatient setting, working 40 hours per week on day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA program.
• Completion of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
• Florida PTA licensure/certification.
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended.
