We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a 26-week outpatient rehab contract in Alexandria, Virginia. This opportunity offers the chance to work with a collaborative therapy team while helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and functional mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and proper body mechanics.
- Complete timely documentation and progress notes.
- Collaborate with the rehab team to support patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Virginia PTA License Required
- BLS Required
- Outpatient or rehab experience preferred
