Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,510 per week

About the role

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant is needed in Savoy, IL. This Physical Therapy Assistant assignment is for 13 weeks and the setting is Outpatient. Our outpatient program is unique-not your typical outpatient or home health setting. Therapists typically work with about 8 residents a day, providing one-on-one care rather than group or multiple concurrent treatments. This personalized approach allows therapists to make a meaningful impact, creating a rewarding experience that traveling therapists also greatly enjoy.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy care to patients in an outpatient setting
• Work closely with physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited PTA program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
