Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - Per Week

About the role

We are seeking a travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement patient care plans in an acute care setting. The PT will oversee support staff, ensure compliance with state and facility regulations, and collaborate with medical personnel to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create/modify plans of care based on patient conditions
• Supervise PTAs and support staff
• Ensure accurate documentation and billing within facility and regulatory guidelines
• Interface with physicians and healthcare team to coordinate care
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment and medical systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply
• Current state license and BLS certification
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Additional certifications like ABPTS may be required prior to start
