About the role
Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant position available in Effingham, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing outpatient physical therapy services.
- Perform tasks such as preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with equipment, and documenting patient progress.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using medical terminology and understanding of physical therapy techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices.
