Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,336 per week

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Fort Myers, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Perform physical assessments and gather necessary patient data to inform treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises and activities to help patients improve their functional abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC.
• Outpatient experience required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Passion for patient care and rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
