Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,846 per week

Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring a CA PT license and 1-2 years of related experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in physical therapy or a related field
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current California Physical Therapy license required, or eligible for registration (license required if applicable)
• Valid California driver's license and evidence of automobile insurance required when travel is part of the role
• APTA membership preferred
• Able to interpret physician orders and develop effective treatment plans
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

About the Role

Outpatient physical therapy setting with minimal acute inpatient coverage on occasion
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, approximately 8am to 5pm
Administers APTA standard physical therapy treatments for disabilities, injuries, and diseases
Works under limited supervision to relieve pain, restore motor function, and maintain optimal patient performance
