Hurricane Season: During hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • May be required to float to other units or sister facilities as needed.

Requirements

  • SC or Multi State Compact Physical Therapist License at the start of contract
  • BLS Certification

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, 5 shifts per week, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
