Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,647 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Albany, Missouri. This is a 13-week assignment with a start date of 09/07/2026, requiring 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift. The role is ideal for a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, though exceptional candidates with 6 months of experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, adhering to facility guidelines.
• Comply with the respective state’s PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand and recommend adaptive equipment as needed.
• Modify the plan of care based on the patient’s condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
