Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,566 per week

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Cedartown, Georgia.

About the Role

This is a hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic specializing in occupational, physical, and speech therapy. The clinic schedules patients in 30-minute intervals, with complex evaluations lasting 1 hour and simple evaluations/treatments lasting 30 minutes. The average patient census is 10–15 patients per day.

The department includes 5 therapists, 1 Lead Therapist, 1 Office Coordinator, and 2 Rehab Aides. The facility uses EPIC as its EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services for general orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures.
• Conduct evaluations and treatments in 30-minute or 1-hour sessions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and support staff.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (first-time travelers will not be accepted).
• Experience with general orthopedics, neurological disorders, and multi-trauma cases.

Schedule

• Duration: 12 weeks (13-week schedule cycle).
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (5-8s or 4-10s, with a consistent day off determined by the clinic).
• No weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday requirements.
• Orientation: 5 days of departmental onboarding.
