About the role
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 26-week outpatient travel assignment in Laurel, MD, utilizing InSync EMR.
Responsibilities
- Provides physical therapy services in an outpatient clinic setting
- Treats patients with a variety of conditions under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans
- Assesses patient progress and modifies treatment plans as necessary
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Active PT license required; MD state license must be obtained during assignment if starting on compact license
- One professional reference required for consideration
- SSN required for consideration
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current CPR certification
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
