This full-time position involves providing assessments and treatments for neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems, implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote mobility and health. The role requires evaluating patients, administering treatments, and ensuring quality care within a 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule. Job Details Required Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy. The position requires at least 0 years of experience. Schedule: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 8 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Responsibilities: Verify physician orders prior to evaluation, perform thorough assessments including medical history and measurements, develop and monitor care plans, and administer modalities such as therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and gait training. Patient and Family Education: Explain treatment programs, conduct return demonstrations, and involve family members as appropriate. Supervision: Oversee PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants during treatments and participate in on-the-job training of rehabilitation personnel. Documentation: Maintain accurate treatment records including subjective and objective data, assessment, and treatment plans. Approve and co-sign progress notes, complete discharge summaries, and ensure documentation aligns with treatment sessions. Professional Development: Maintain licensure through continuing education and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Additional Notes: No weekend or on-call requirements; flexible scheduling accommodated.
