This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 5x8 hours, M/W/F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Tu/Th 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Job Description
The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients while ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration.
Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards discharge.
Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
Provide educational support to patients, families, students, and coworkers.
Participate in student program assignments by guiding students within their learning objectives.
Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete mandatory continuing education.
Adhere to safety protocols and recognize the importance of patient and employee safety.
Qualifications
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
Current CPR certification.
Active and applicable state licensure for Physical Therapy.
