Travel Outpatient Orthopedics Physical Therapist - $1,709 per week

About the Role

Travel Physical Therapist position in Frederick, Maryland. 13-week contract starting November 16, 2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.

As a Physical Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining movement, reducing pain, and returning to their favorite activities. You will work with a diverse caseload, including:

• Post-operative orthopedic patients
• Total joint replacements
• Neck and back pain
• Spine rehabilitation
• Manual therapy patients
• Sports injuries
• General musculoskeletal conditions

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with typical shifts being 2 days from 10:30 am – 7:00 pm and 2 days from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. The clinic operates from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based one-on-one care
• Utilize manual therapy techniques when appropriate
• Educate patients and families
• Document care using EMR
• Collaborate with an experienced rehabilitation team
• Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)
• American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient orthopedic experience
• Manual therapy experience
