About the role

The Physical Therapist will provide care in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Sumter, South Carolina, delivering evaluation, treatment plans, and therapy interventions to patients. Collaboration with a diverse clinical team is essential for optimizing patient outcomes.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position starting 09/21/2026
• 8-hour day shift with a guaranteed 36 hours, with the expectation of working up to 40 hours weekly

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Implement therapy interventions to aid in patient recovery
• Work towards a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, seeing 12-14 patients per day
• Manage double-booking of follow-up visits
• Float to other clinics as required

Requirements

• Outpatient experience is preferred
• Valid Physical Therapist license required
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• PTA candidates will not be accepted
