Opportunity

  • Lymphedema certification is required - hard stop requirement
  • Georgia state license required
  • Schedule options: 4x10s or 5x8s available
  • No weekend shifts required
  • No call required
  • May float within facility and scope of practice to acute care inpatient facility as needed
  • Work with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, and SLPs on a regular basis alongside wound care clinic
  • Collaborate with compression fitters and lymphedema vendors supporting the lymphedema patient population
  • Treat patients ranging from adolescents and young/middle adults to geriatrics with a mix of diagnoses including lymphedema care
  • Daily census of 5-7 patients per day with a patient ratio of 5
  • Charting experience required; Epic experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
  • Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Lymphedema Certification
  • Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
  • If major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work them per holiday policy
  • 4 orientation hours required

This hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation facility specializes in lymphedema care and is located within a comprehensive wellness and outpatient rehab department. The facility supports an interdisciplinary team environment with interpretation services available and serves a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The center is focused on providing specialized outpatient rehabilitation services with access to a full range of therapy professionals and lymphedema-specific resources including compression fitters and specialty vendors.
