About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients requiring orthopedic surgery and med-surg services.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in orthopedic or med-surg settings preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of orthopedic and med-surg treatments and procedures.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
